Just a few minutes from the sea, in Alberoni on the Lido di Venezia, we offer a detached villa in excellent condition with private garden and generous roof-terrace with sea view.
The Villa is composed of an entrance hall, living room, dining room, eat-in kitchen with pantry and service bathroom on the ground floor. The rooms develop around the spiral staircase, with its elegant design, leading to the first floor (night area) where we find four bedrooms, three of which are doubles with en-suite bathroom, a single bedroom and another bathroom. Two large terraces overlook the entrance and the garden and, on the upper floor, an external staircase leads up to the spacious roof-terrace with a view of the sea and the surrounding vegetation of sea pines, gorse bushes and poplars.
In the small building on the south-eastern side there is a bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a storage room with separate access that can be used as a small guest annexe.
The rooms are bright and well-designed, furnished with elegance and refined taste. The oriental-inspired style blends beautifully with the soft, essential lines of the contemporary furnishings. The high ceilings and light-coloured walls give a sense of lightness and tranquillity.
The garden outside is well-kept and tidy, with shady areas thanks to the presence of cypresses, oleanders, fruit trees and ornamental plants. An oasis of tranquillity and relaxation whose borders are marked by lush wisteria hedges.
The Alberoni area is known for its high sand dunes, which are part of a protected oasis managed by WWF Veneto and the Municipality of Venice. The beauty of the beach also dazzled Luchino Visconti, who filmed the exterior of his Death in Venice at Bagni Alberoni. The presence of a golf course attracts enthusiasts and professionals, who find in this area of Lido di Venezia a 12-hole green with wooded areas that is truly unique – legend has it that it was built to satisfy Henry Ford’s wish.
The central area of Lido is about 10 minutes away (by bus / car) and is a true manifestation of Art Nouveau, the Italian way of Art Nouveau, which runs along its main artery, the Gran Viale Santa Maria Elisabetta. Here you will find bars with outdoor terraces, restaurants, shops and exquisite ice-cream parlours and pastry shops. From the Santa Maria Elisabetta pier, waterbuses depart to Venice and the islands, as well as the ferry-boat to Punta Sabbioni and Lido di Jesolo.
