In a marvellous 17th-century palace in San Tomà, we propose a magnificent Piano Nobile, to be restored, of ample size with a view over the Rio di San Tomà and, in glimpse, the Grand Canal. The Piano Nobile consists of a 200sqm hall with three-mullioned window (trifora) and balcony and features frescoes and stuccoes of exquisite quality. The other salons and some of the rooms also have splendid stuccoes, frescoes or exposed beams.
The Piano Nobile also includes an eat-in kitchen, dining room, living room, five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a terrace and a warehouse on the ground floor.
Palazzo Morosini is a short walk from Campo San Tomà, the ferry and vaporetto stop. The Basilica dei Frari, with the works by Titian and Canova (to name but a few) is just a few minutes’ walk away, as is Chiesa di San Pantalon with the largest painted ceiling in the world (inside a church). San Tomà is located in the Sestier di Santa Croce and close to the Sestier di Dorsoduro, two areas of Venice that offer a huge choice of restaurants, cafés, craft shops, bookshops, museums and galleries.
