Which country has the fastest rising house prices?

What is it? Our latest Global House Price Index confirms that Slovenia witnessed the strongest price growth in the year to March 2019, registering growth of 18.2% over the 12-month period. China is in third place with annual growth of 11.3% but this resurgent growth is likely to be curbed as China’s Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural has already warned ten cities in the last two months to take steps to control price inflation. Price falls in Greece look to have bottomed out with the country having registered four quarters of price growth but prices still sit 41% below their Q3 2008 peak.
