Moscow: New supply is constrained with only two projects launching in Q2 2019

The new Moscow Prime Residential Report confirms that there was a slowdown in developer activity in Q2 2019 with only two new projects coming to the market. Almost half of the current supply (47%) are small units of under 100 sq m. Apartments of over 200 sq m are scarce and hence command a premium. The average apartment price equated to RUB 830,000 per sq m (US$13,100 per sq m) at the end of June, a rise of 6% compared with H2 2018.
